OPST Warranty Service

OPST guarantee their fly rods against any defect in materials or workmanship, for 24 months from date of proof of purchase. All OPST rods are warrantied for the original owner only. Rods must be registered within 30 days of purchase, either by utilising the Unique ID number, indicated on the Warranty Card which was provided with the rod at the time of purchase and sending an email to the address below. :

Unregistered or resold rods are not covered by this warranty. Rods purchased from third party sites such as Ebay or Amazon are not covered by the warranty. The warranty does not cover lost rods, lost rod sections, intentional breakage, misuse, negligence, fire, normal wear-and-tear, cosmetic wear or scratches. Rods that fall into these categories can be repaired or replaced at the cost of the original owner. Within Europe BalticFlyFisher handles warranty claims for OPST. All warranty claims are dealt with in Europe. Damaged rods must be returned to BalticFlyFisher with a note indicating where to ship the replacement.

Shipping fees will be charged at cost.

Please note: that we need photos of the rod in order to process your claim more efficiently. Please provide clear, focused photos of your rod failure to help us determine the best solution. At least one photo clearly showing the handle section with the ECHO logo and model print label is required.
