This website is operated by Balticflyfisher, a specialist fly fishing retailer based in Tostedt, Germany, and operated by Annelie Longhurst (Beekfeld 7, 21255 Tostedt, Germany · VAT ID: DE286440503). Throughout these Terms, "we", "us" and "our" refer to Balticflyfisher.
By visiting our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
1. Who Can Use This Website
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your country of residence, to place an order. By using this site you confirm that you meet this requirement.
2. Our Products
We sell premium fly fishing equipment including rods, reels, fly lines, leaders, hooks, fly tying materials, and accessories from brands including ECHO, OPST, and YAMAGA Blanks. We ship worldwide from Germany.
We make every effort to display product colours, specifications, and images accurately. However, screen calibration varies and we cannot guarantee exact colour reproduction. Product descriptions, pricing, and availability are subject to change without notice.
We reserve the right to limit quantities, refuse orders, or discontinue products at any time.
3. Pricing & Payment
All prices are displayed in Euros (EUR) and include VAT where applicable under EU law. Customers outside the EU may be subject to local import duties and taxes, which are their own responsibility.
We reserve the right to correct pricing errors. If an error affects your order, we will contact you before processing payment.
4. Orders & Contract Formation
Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. A binding contract is formed when we confirm your order by email and dispatch the goods. We reserve the right to decline any order at our discretion.
If we need to cancel or amend your order, we will contact you using the details provided at checkout.
5. Shipping
We ship via DHL and GLS. Delivery times and costs vary by destination — full details are available in our Shipping Policy at https://www.balticflyfisher.shop/policies/shipping-policy. Free shipping applies to orders over €150.
Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery. For international orders outside the EU, you are responsible for any applicable customs duties and import taxes.
6. Returns & Right of Withdrawal
We offer a 30-day return window from the date of delivery. Items must be unused, in original condition, with all tags and original packaging.
EU consumers: In accordance with EU Directive 2011/83/EU, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving a reason. To exercise this right, contact us at annelie@balticflyfisher.com before the 14-day period expires.

7. Warranty
Products carry manufacturer warranties as follows: rods (2 years), reels (1 year), accessories (6 months). Some brands offer extended coverage — ECHO rods carry a natural life warranty for the original owner, and YAMAGA Blanks rods are covered against manufacturing defects for the original purchaser.
We act as the authorised European warranty handler for ECHO, OPST, and YAMAGA Blanks. Warranty claims should be directed to warranty@balticflyfisher.com.
Warranties cover manufacturing defects and workmanship failures. They do not cover normal wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse, or saltwater corrosion.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, images, product descriptions, and brand assets — is the property of Balticflyfisher or its suppliers and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property law. You may not reproduce, copy, or redistribute any content without our express written permission.
9. Third-Party Links & Tools
Our website may contain links to third-party websites or use third-party tools (e.g. payment processors, shipping carriers). We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third-party sites. Use of such sites is at your own risk.
10. Personal Data & Privacy

11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Balticflyfisher shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website or products. Our total liability shall not exceed the value of the order giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under German or EU law.
12. Prohibited Uses
You may not use this website to: violate any applicable law; infringe intellectual property rights; transmit malicious code or spam; collect personal data of others without consent; or engage in any fraudulent or deceptive conduct.
We reserve the right to terminate access to our services for any breach of these Terms.
13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. For EU consumers, mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence also apply and are not affected by this choice of law.

We are not obliged to participate in alternative dispute resolution proceedings but will consider each case individually.
